With over thirty years of culinary experience at luxury resorts throughout Hawaii, Asia, and Europe, Faivre will be responsible for leading the resort's culinary operations. He will work closely with local farmers and vendors to source fresh and seasonal products, create new menus for the resort's dining venues, including Cane & Canoe, The Hideaway, and Cliff House, and manage the culinary team.
Hersha Hospitality Management (HHM) announced Andrés Padilla has been named executive chef of The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park. Chef Padilla will oversee all food and beverage experiences for the 130-room property, including two restaurants & bars, in-room dining and private events. Influenced by Padilla's travels throughout Mexico, Ámbar Restaurante will serve wood-fired, modern Mexican cuisine. Radisson Blu Anaheim announced the appointment of Steve Lindburg as the hotel's general manager. The hotel is anticipated to open September 2020. Lindburg served as general manager for Radisson Blu Minneapolis Downtown since 2013.
